39-year-old Moneisha Hurt was charged with domestic assault after physically escalating an argument she was having with her girlfriend and her girlfriend’s brother.
On October 15th, Clarksville Police Department Officer Jeffery Novenario arrived at the residence of 131 Shady Maple Drive in response to a domestic violence call. Aaron Scott called the police when he heard an argument between his sister, Pamela Scott, and her girlfriend, Moneisha Hurt, that got physical and worked its way to the living room.
He watched Hurt put her hands around his sister’s neck and at that point decided to break up the fight. Hurt then turned her attention to him. She began to push and shove Mr. Scott but the altercation calmed down before any officers showed up.
Moneisha Hurt was arrested and charged with domestic assault. She was released on a $1,000 bond.
