Woman falls on knife of lover’s son at Cumberland Mobile Home Park

26-year-old Randy Gibson was charged with aggravated assault when he came after his roommate with a knife and a cane ultimately cutting her at the Cumberland Mobile Home Park in Clarksville.

On October 15th, Clarksville Police Officer Smith responded to a stabbing at 205 Walnut Street, Lot 5. Upon arrival, the officer spoke with Randy Gibson’s roommate, Heather, who stated that he came at her with a cane and a knife during an argument. She said that when she was backing away from him, she fell and received a cut on her arm from the knife he was holding.

Randy described similar events but claimed self-defense. He advised that when Heather was backing away, he slashed at her and cut her when she tripped. Heather is Randy’s father’s girlfriend and they both reside in the residence.

Randy Gibson was arrested and charged with domestic aggravated assault. He is currently jailed in lieu of a $75,000 bond.
