Emergency medical services arrived and administered Narcan, which was able to resuscitate Charlotte. In the bathroom she was found in, officers located a burnt straw, a burnt piece of tin, and a bag of white powder that field-tested positive for methamphetamine. Afterward, she was taken to Tennova Medical Center to follow up on her condition. Officer Lynch noted Charlotte had another overdose earlier this year on August 8th.

Charlotte Harshman was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine and unlawful drug paraphernalia. She has since been found guilty for the charge of unlawful drug paraphernalia, and the charge for possession of meth was later dismissed.
