28-year-old Charity Harper was charged with domestic assault when she attempted to dump a bottle of Gatorade on her boyfriend and then hit him in the face.
On August 28th, Clarksville Police Officer Saul Jeanetta was dispatched to a domestic already occurred at 563 Oakmont Drive. Upon arrival, the officer made contact with Jermaine Cooper who stated that he and his girlfriend, Charity Harper, had gotten into a verbal disagreement.
She attempted to pour a bottle of Gatorade on him during their argument, and then struck him in the left eye and the left side of his mouth causing small lacerations. Jermaine declined medical attention. Officers failed to make contact with Charity at her residence, 141 Darlene Drive, but a warrant was secured and she was later.
On September 3rd, Charity Harper was arrested and charged with domestic assault. Her bond was set at $500.
