“Unreasonable annoyance” taken into custody after urinating in McGregor City Park museum

56-year-old Vincent Ferrell was charged with vandalism and public intoxication after he urinated on the floor of the McGregor City Park museum, and he was suspected of being so intoxicated that he was a danger to himself.

On November 11th, Clarksville Police Officer James Burton responded to vandalism and public intoxication at McGregor City Park, 640 N Riverside Drive, and observed Vincent Ferrell laying on the floor of the museum. When Officer J. Burton asked Ferrell to leave the park, he acted aggressively toward Officer Burton.

Ferrell tried to get up but was reportedly unsteady. Ferrell reportedly posed a potential danger to himself. Ferrel also urinated on the floor of the museum. Once Ferrell was awake, he started yelling with an obscene language towards the officer and was considered an “unreasonable annoyance.” Officer J. Burton took Ferrell into custody for public intoxication and vandalism. The reported damage was approximately $50.

Vincent Ferrell was arrested and charged with vandalism and public intoxication. He is currently jailed in lieu of a $1,000 bond.
