19-year-old Treyvon Johnson was charged with domestic assault after reportedly bear-hugging his wife aggressively during an argument about having friends over.
On December 6th, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputy Daw responded to a domestic violence call at 1477 Amberjack Court, Apartment D. Per the affidavit, he met with Ern’drinque Walker. She stated that on the 5th, she and her husband, Treyvon Johnson, moved into this new residence. An argument took place in which he wanted to have friends over while she wanted to spend time getting adjusted to the new home.
She came home the next day and while she was upstairs, the same argument was brought up again. During the argument, Treyvon demanded that she give him her phone. As she began going downstairs, Treyvon grabbed her from behind in a bear-hug style and tried to get the phone from her. He ripped off her jacket and caused her to fall into the stair railing, causing a laceration on her lower lip. She then called 911 as Treyvon left the residence.
Treyvon Johnson was arrested and charged with domestic assault. He was later released on a $500 bond.
