Summit Heights woman found in the middle of street; would not stop screaming, cussing

22-year-old Kaliyah Ellis was charged with public intoxication after officers were called about a woman in the middle of the road and she would not stop screaming and cussing when they attempted to approach her.

On April 28th, Clarksville Police Officer Lucas responded to a call about a female in the middle of the road at 1578 Cherry Tree Drive. Upon arrival, Kaliyah Ellis immediately screamed for him to stay away and not touch her.

The officer noted she was under the influence by her speech, smell and staggered walking. She continuously shrieked and hurled profanities. Ellis also had an active warrant on file for domestic assault and interference with emergency calls stemming from a March incident.

Kaliyah Ellis was arrested and charged with public intoxication. Her bond was set at $439.
