Sparsely-clothed intoxicated man bangs on Dollar General doors after hours

26-year-old Johnathan Ghrist was charged with public intoxication after banging on the door of the Providence Boulevard Dollar General without a shirt or shoes on.

On September 21st, Clarksville Police Officer Pacheco arrived at Dollar General at 924 Providence Boulevard in response to a suspicious person. The caller told police that a man, later identified as Johnathan Ghrist, was knocking on the door and trying to get in.

When authorities spoke with Ghrist, he was lacking a shirt or shoes. Ghrist could not tell police where his clothing had gone and officers tried to help him find a ride home but failed. Ghrist was taken into custody.

Johnathan Ghrist was arrested and charged with public intoxication. His bond was set at $439.
