24-year-old Cody Milchick was charged with domestic assault and false imprisonment after blocking his mother in the kitchen and kneeing her in the thigh when she tried to escape because she wouldn’t let him have tools.
On August 10th, Officer Castillo was dispatched to 2084 Skyview Circle where Valerie Milchick gave an account of what had happened earlier in the day. Valerie and her son Cody Milchick had gotten into an argument because he wanted tools out of the basement. The fight escalated when she told him she would not let him have any of the tools because she did not know which ones belonged to him.
Valerie told her son she had to go to Walgreens before they closed to grab her medication. Cody blocked her into the kitchen and told her she wasn’t going anywhere until he got his tools. Fortunately, she was able to get around him to leave, but Cody kneed her in her right thigh. He was gone by the time officers arrived at the scene and a warrant was secured.
On August 11th, Cody Milchick was arrested and charged with domestic assault and false imprisonment. He is jailed in lieu of a $2,000 bond.
