23-year-old Wyatt Petree was charged with domestic assault when his wife told officers that he pushed her during an argument. He suggested that their alcohol consumption prompted her accusation.
On May 17th, Clarksville Police Officer Salcedo was dispatched to a domestic situation at 1227 Snowball Lane. According to the affidavit, Kylee Petree told authorities that she and husband Wyatt Petree had been arguing and that Wyatt pushed her prompting her to barricade in the bedroom and call for service.
Petree suggested that the altercation never became physical and that he believed his wife’s alcohol consumption was the basis for her accusations. Neither party sustained any injury nor do they have any previous history of domestic assault.
Wyatt Petree was arrested and charged with domestic assault. His bond was set at $500.
