46-year-old Scott Michalak was charged with domestic assault after he threatened his roommate saying he was going to ‘beat his ass’ when he would not give him the keys to the car.
On October 21st, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputy Prichard was dispatched to 4765 Devers Road in reference to an altercation between roommates. Timothy Garrett advised that Scott Michalak came into his room while he was watching YouTube on his phone and demanded he give him the keys to the car.
Timothy said he needed the keys to go to work soon. According to the affidavit, Scott then got in his face, screamed at him, and told him that he was going to beat his ass. At that point, Scott reached for Timothy’s gun holster while grabbing his arm which left a red mark. Timothy stated that he then drew his weapon and pointed it at Scott in self-defense because he was in fear for his life.
Scott Michalak was arrested and charged with domestic assault. He was later released on a $500 bond.
