Pregnant woman struck during attempted burglary

32-year-old Zdu Nu Luu was charged with aggravated burglary after forcibly entering a woman’s garage without consent and striking her in the back. The woman assaulted was four months pregnant, but did not sustain injuries.

On June 15th, Officers Matthews and Knoblock were dispatched to a home in Clarksville regarding a call for service. Upon arrival, law enforcement made contact with the resident of the home and a witness, who informed officers that Zdu Nu Luu arrived uninvited to their residence in a Honda Pilot. According to the affidavit, Luu began to knock on the front door of the house, then proceeded to forcibly enter through the garage.

Once inside, Luu confronted the resident, allegedly screaming at her and eventually striking her in the back. Officers added that the woman assaulted was four months pregnant at the time of the incident. Following Luu’s assault, the woman exited the garage and vacated the premises. A witness on location confirmed the resident’s statement, noting that Luu did not have permission to enter the home. Luu was then placed into custody for aggravated burglary.

Zdu Nu Luu was arrested and charged with aggravated burglary. Her bond was set at $10,000.
