Man shoves wife for taking his cell phone and “getting in his way”

54-year-old Kier Jackson was charged with domestic assault after he shoved his wife to the ground because she took his phone and was in his way when he tried to leave.

On October 24th, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputy Patterson reported that Kier Jackson and his wife, Leah Jackson, began to argue at their residence located at 1517 Green Grove Way due to her taking his phone. Kier reportedly asked for his phone back and Leah refused so he went to their room.

While they were in the room, Leah began unplugging cords from the back of the cable box to the television. According to the affidavit, Kier asked her several times to stop but she continued and when he tried to exit the room she stood in the way. Kier admitted to shoving his wife to the ground. The deputy noted that Leah had a minor bruise to her arms and that she advised of possible domestic history in Iowa.

Kier Jackson was arrested and charged with domestic assault. He was released on a $500 bond.
