34-year-old Richard Kelley was charged with domestic assault after a verbal altercation where he lunged at his ex-girlfriend and slashed her vehicle’s tires.
On September 7th, Clarksville Police Officer Sara Weber was dispatched to a domestic in progress at 1670 Robin Place. Ms. Clark explained that her ex-boyfriend, Richard Kelley, entered her residence through the back door using a key he had.
Clark stated that Kelley entered her bedroom, started a verbal altercation, and then lunged at her. His actions put Clark in fear so she pepper-sprayed him which caused him to exit her residence, slash her vehicle’s passenger-side tires, and leave the premises.
Richard was arrested and charged with domestic assault and vandalism. His bond was set at $12,500.
