Man going wrong way on Madison Street blows .198

28-year-old Joseph Rosario was charged with DUI when he was observed by police going the wrong way on Madison Street and blew a .198 BAC.

On September 6th, CPD Officer Robert Riley observed a black Jeep facing the wrong direction near Dogwood Lane on Madison Street. Officer Riley made contact with Joseph Rosario and could smell the strong odor of alcohol coming from him.

Rosario admitted to the officers that he and some friends had been drinking the night before. Rosario was placed under arrest and taken to booking. While in booking, Rosario was instructed to blow into the intoximeter to check his blood alcohol count, which came back as .198 BAC.

Joseph Rosario was arrested and charged with driving under the influence. His bond was set at $2,500.
