22-year-old Ashell Edwards was charged with indecent exposure after reportedly “manipulating himself” in a craft store parking lot on Wilma Rudolph.
On November 20th, Officer Tracy Hicks responded to an indecent exposure call at a Michael’s, 2886 Wilma Rudolph Boulevard. Hicks responded to a complaint that stated that a man in a black Ford car with California tags was “manually manipulating himself” in the parking lot.
When questioned, he claimed he had been in the parking lot for a while but wasn’t “manually manipulating himself”. The complainant was contacted again and asked to return to the scene. Upon arrival, she was able to identify the man as the one she called about. He was otherwise unknown by the victim and later discovered to be Ashell Edwards. He was then taken into custody.
Ashell Edwards was arrested and charged with indecent exposure. He has since been released on a $500 bond.
