Man charged with assault when argument about money issues turns physical

31-year-old Sean Carver was charged with domestic assault after an argument over money issues escalated into a smashed cell phone and a woman being thrown against furniture and the floor, per report.

On February 16th, police responded to a domestic call that had occurred on Foxrun Lane. Upon arrival, police made contact with the victim who stated that on the morning of February 15th she and Sean Carver were involved in an argument over money issues. The victim told police that Sean got in her face, ripped her phone out of her hands, and then smashed it.

The victim slapped Sean in an attempt to get him away from her but Sean grabbed her, threw her against the bed, the sofa, and then the floor, according to the affidavit. The victim went onto say that once she was on the floor Sean banged her head on the floor one time. At that point, Sean’s mother showed up at the house and he stopped hitting the victim.

Sean Carver was later arrested and charged with domestic assault. His bond was set at $500.
