Man charged after reportedly fighting sister, brother, and father

23-year-old Ismael Juarez was charged with three counts of domestic assault after his father told police he had been taking drugs, was barely conscious while trying to leave the house, and had fought them all.

On November 22nd, Clarksville Police Officer Colin Adear responded to a domestic violence call at the residence at 941 Shearor Street. When Officer Adear arrived he met with Ismael Juarez, who stated nothing happened and that the officers should leave. Ismael Gonzales, Ismael Juarez’s father, pulled the officer aside and stated that his son had been using drugs and attacked his family. He was reportedly near unconscious from drug use when he tried to leave the house.

The father told police he and his 15-year-old daughter attempted to stop Ismael from leaving the house, stating they feared for his safety. Ismael then reportedly pushed his father and sister out of the way and kicked her in the shins. She then called out to her 17-year-old brother to intervene, who charged and tackled Ismael. The 17-year-old brother was able to put Ismael in a headlock. The report stated Ismael then bit down on his brother, breaking the skin and leaving a bright red mark.

Ismael Juarez was arrested and charged with three counts of domestic assault. He is currently jailed in lieu of a $7,500 bond.
