30-year-old Roy Randell Pryor was charged with vandalism after his girlfriend inferred that he broke her phone while she was in another room.

On October 25th, Clarksville Police Officer Lockerman responded to a vandalism call at Ashford Place Apartments, 2190 Memorial Drive. Upon arrival, Officer Lockerman made contact with a female who identified herself as Roy Pryor’s girlfriend and the mother of his child. The woman stated that her cell phone was on an end table plugged into a charged in the living room. She left the cell phone on the end table while she went into a different room in their home, leaving Pryor alone with the device. She also stated that she left the phone at the house while she left to go to the store and upon returning home, the phone was then unplugged and broken.

Pryor’s girlfriend believes that he broke her cell phone while she was gone due to the fact he was upset about a prior argument the couple had. When question Pryor, he stated that he did not break the cell phone and there was no argument prior to him leaving the residence. It was noted that the phone’s estimated value is $500.

Roy Randell Pryor was arrested and charged with vandalism. He was later released on a $500 bond.
