Man caught carrying two ounces of marijuana when rolling through a stop sign

27-year-old Marquez Hoosier was charged with felony possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and disregarding a stop sign after not coming to a full stop at the intersection of Old Dover Road and Old Dover Court.

On September 1st, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputy Burkhart was watching traffic at the intersection of Old Dover Road and Old Dover Court, and saw a vehicle fail to come to a full stop at the sign. Deputy Burkhart proceeded to stop the vehicle and identified the driver as Marques Hoosier.

After a probable cause search of Hoosier and his vehicle, two plastic bags containing marijuana weighing 28.1 grams each, a half-smoked marijuana cigarette, and a bottle of Blunt Effects odor eliminating spray were recovered. Hoosier was then taken into custody.

Marquez Hoosier was arrested and charged with felony possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and failure to stop at a stop sign. His bond was set at $5,000.
