40-year-old Jamel Fitzpatrick was charged with domestic assault and vandalism after he fought with his girlfriend, broke the glass pane on her door, and damaged her son’s Xbox and laptop.
On October 25th, Clarksville Police Officer Kayla Billotte responded to a domestic disturbance at 1942 Batts Lane. Deshawna Simons stated she and her boyfriend, Jamel Fitzpatrick, had a verbal argument that turned physical when they both began attacking each other.
According to the affidavit, Jamel then damaged Deshawna’s son Xbox and laptop by throwing them on the ground. He then ran outside and Deshawna locked the door. He punched the glass pane on the outside door in the kitchen, Officer Billotte noted there was glass on the floor and a long cut on Jamel’s wrist that he could not explain. Jamel admitted they had a verbal and physical altercation, but added during the altercation that Dashawna poured bleach on his clothing.
Jamel Fitzpatrick was arrested and charged with domestic assault and vandalism. He was released on a $2,000 bond.
