Man attempts to take neighbor’s pants off as she pleas for him to stop

63-year-old Thomas Bailey was charged with aggravated burglary after he forced his way into his neighbor’s house and attempted to take her pants off.

On November 12th, Clarksville Police Detective Walden arrived at the residence of 709 Peachers Drive in response to an aggravated burglary call. Upon arrival, Candace Acuff reported her neighbor, Thomas Bailey, knocked on her door and forced his way into her apartment.

She stated he pushed her against the wall and tried to unbutton her pants, causing a clock to fall and knock over a plant. Acuff reported telling Bailey “no” and “stop,” but he continued attempting to take off her pants. As she prevented Thomas from taking off her pants, she said they fell to the floor and he proceeded to take his off instead. She advised that she moved away from him to call the police and upon arrival, they found Thomas still on the floor with his pants down, reportedly too intoxicated to answer any questions.

Thomas Bailey was arrested and charged with aggravated burglary. He is currently jailed in lieu of a $10,000 bond, and his case was bound over to a Grand Jury.
