Man arrested with paraphernalia after friend inexplicably sits on Dollar General floor

29-year-old Randell Adam Stanfill was charged with unlawful drug paraphernalia after Dollar General management called authorities about his friend sitting on the floor and he consented to a search of his person.

On October 9th, Clarksville Police Department Officer Logan Oakley responded to a suspicious person call located at Dollar General on 1578 Ft Campbell Blvd. Upon arrival, Officer Oakley made contact with a male and female matching the description of the call. The individuals were identified as Trinity Zepeda and Randall Stanfill. Officer Oakley proceeded to conduct a consent search on Randell Stanfill. During the course of the search, Oakley found a syringe in his front right pants pocket. Officer Oakley stated, “Based on my training and experience, a syringe is an item commonly used to ingest narcotics.” Stanfill did tell Officer Oakley that he uses opiates, and he is currently homeless.

Randall Adam Stanfill was arrested and charged with unlawful drug paraphernalia. He was later released on a $1,000 bond.
