24-year-old Sydney Farni was charged with public intoxication when concerned citizens contacted police and reported a man walking down Golf Club Lane and screaming a woman’s name.
On August 8th, Officer Baker was dispatched to 1605 Golf Club Lane in regards to a potential public intoxication. Dispatchers received reports of a male walking down Golf Club Lane yelling a woman’s name. The complainant described him as a white man wearing a ball cap, a blue shirt, blue jeans, and a backpack. Officers located a man that fit the description and identified him as Sidney Farni.
When officers found him, he was urinating near a concrete drainage system. He was slurring his words, his eyes were bloodshot and watering, and he was unsteady on his feet. Officer Baker noted the odor of alcohol on his person and deemed him to be a danger to himself and a nuisance to the public.
Sydney Farni was arrested and charged with public intoxication. His bond was set at $1,000.
