27-year-old Jessica Murphy was charged with domestic assault when her husband told officers they had a strictly verbal conflict over a painting she had not removed from their home. Jessica admitted she had slapped him.
On May 25th, Clarksville Police Officer Donavane Robinson was dispatched to a domestic situation at 168 Cloe Court. Jeremy Murphy told officers that he and Jessica Murphy had been in a strictly verbal altercation over a painting he told her to take down.
According to the affidavit, however, Jessica Murphy admitted to authorities that she had slapped her husband during their argument. Murphy is a civilian government employee.
Jessica Murphy was arrested and charged with domestic assault. Her bond was set at $250.
