Fugitive felons caught with meth, LSD, firearm after reckless parking lot driving

28-year-old Nicholas Wiseman and 29-year-old Ashley Brashears were charged with possession of meth & LSD for resale, felony firearm danger, felon going armed, and paraphernalia and Wiseman was additionally charged with reckless driving on a suspended license during a traffic stop in a Walmart parking lot.

On September 10th, 19th Drug Task Force Agent Charles Bryant conducted a traffic stop at the Walmart located at 3050 Wilma Rudolph Boulevard. A white Nissan pickup truck was driving recklessly in the parking lot. The driver, Nicholas Wiseman’s license was suspended out of Kentucky and the passenger was identified as Ashley Brashears. Canine Handler Deputy Becraft conducted a free air sniff of the vehicle utilizing Police Service Canine (PSC) Lobo. Deputy Becraft advised that Lobo indicated the presence of narcotics in the vehicle.

Agents searched the Nissan and found a black magnetic box under the driver’s seat that contained approximately 20.2 grams methamphetamine and 3 “tabs” of Lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD). They also found a chambered Ruger 9mm handgun between the center console and passenger seat, a Suboxone pill, and a backpack with various drug paraphernalia to include a scale and multiple baggies.

Wiseman was convicted of felony meth trafficking in Kentucky in February 2020 and Brashears was convicted of felony auto burglary in July 2020, among other felony convictions. Both Brashears and Wiseman had warrants on file when they were taken into custody.

Nicholas Wiseman was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine and LSD for resale, felony firearm danger, felon going armed, unlawful drug paraphernalia, reckless driving, and driving on a suspended license. He is jailed in lieu of a $146,000 bond.
