Clarksville man hits mother and beats brother when he tries to comfort her

38-year-old Jessie Whitworth was charged with two counts of domestic assault when he beat his mother in the head and then bloodied his brother when he rushed to help her.

On May 2nd, Montgomery County Sheriff Deputy Byers was called to a domestic incident. According to the heavily redacted affidavit, the officer found Jessie Whitworth‘s brother bleeding from his eye and nose.

His mother attested that Whitworth had struck her in her head and knocked her down. In the process of rendering aid, the brother was punched in the eye by Whitworth.

Jessie Whitworth was arrested and charged with two counts of domestic assault. He is currently jailed in lieu of a $5,000 bond.
