30-year-old Daniel Barnhill was charged with possession of cocaine after he consented to a search while police were responding to a call about a suspicious person at Food Mart on Fort Campbell Boulevard, per report.
On March 25th, officers were dispatched to 1950 Fort Campbell Boulevard in reference to a call about a suspicious person. Officer Wiessing made contact with a man inside Food Mart, later identified as Daniel Barnhill, and asked if he was associated with the suspicious vehicle in the parking lot.

Daniel acknowledged that he was, and Officer Wiessing then asked Daniel to step outside and asked for consent to search his person. During the search, a folded piece of paper was found in Daniel’s right pocket containing a white powdery substance that tested positive for cocaine with a preliminary weight of less than 0.5 grams.
Daniel Barnhill was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine. His bond was set at $1,000.
