38-year-old Bryan Bradley was charged with aggravated domestic assault after he reportedly tried to force his wife over the banister of the stairs in their home and she shot a bullet through his arm.

On November 9th, Montgomery County Deputy Gardner responded to a shot fired call at 213 Ledina court. On arrival, he discovered Bryan and Kristen Bentley had been arguing about their pending divorce before it escalated beyond just words. Bryan was reported to have held his hands around her neck, “squeezed her cheeks,” and punched her in the back of the head during the altercation.

Kristen reportedly stated, “out of fear and past abuse she retrieved her 9mm pistol from a bedroom.” Afterward, Bryan attempted to force her over the railing at the top of their stairs. Kristen then discharged the firearm. Bryan was shot in the upper left arm and was then taken to Vanderbilt Medical Center for a non-life-threatening-injury. Kristen had visible marks along her neck and right shoulder which she reports to have been from the assault from her husband. Both Bryan and Kristen report that the gun was fired accidentally.

Bryan Bradley was arrested and charged with aggravated domestic assault. He has since been released on a $10,000 bond.
