Women seen in dumpster behind City Thrift attempt to flee by foot; found to have meth and fentanyl

39-year-old Connie Bartosch and 37-year-old Tiffany Taylor were charged with methamphetamine, possession, and paraphernalia. Tiffany was additionally charged with criminal trespass when they were caught fleeing from an officer.

On September 2nd, Officer Sutton of the Clarksville Police Department was on routine patrol in the area of 1846 Wilma Rudolph Boulevard near City Thrift. Officer Sutton noticed two females in a dumpster behind the business. While the officer was exiting the vehicle the two females fled from the scene by foot. The females, Tiffany Taylor and Connie Bartosch were located while still in the area of 1846 Wilma Rudolph Blvd.

A Jeep Cherokee bearing Tennessee registration N2612C was located behind the business. While initiating a plain view search the vehicle, Officer Sutton saw a glass pipe with residue. A complete search of the vehicle produced two baggies of methamphetamine totaling 9 grams, a fentanyl patch, baggies, and syringes.

Connie Bartosch was arrested and charged with methamphetamine violation, simple possession/ casual exchange, and unlawful drug paraphernalia. Her bond was set at $45,000.

Tiffany Taylor was arrested and charged with methamphetamine violation, simple possession, criminal trespass, and unlawful drug paraphernalia. She is currently jailed in lieu of a $10,000 bond.
