Clarksville doctor charged with 7 counts shoplifting at Walmart; posts all cash bond

46-year-old Jyotsna Korivi was charged with 7 counts of theft of merchandise – shoplifting, in connection to 7 separate incidents where Wilma Rudolph Walmart Loss Prevention reported she had skip scanned $358.78 of merchandise.

On November 9th, Walmart Loss Prevention Officer Matthew Campbell from the store located at 3050 Wilma Rudolph Boulevard swore seven individual affidavits outlining the alleged shoplifting of merchandise. According to the affidavits, on seven separate occasions September 6th, 20th, 27th, October 4th, 11th, 18th, and 27th Jyotsna Korivi purchased an amount of merchandise utilizing self-checkout but failed to scan every item she left the store with.

Over seven incidents, she is accused of pilfering $358.78 of merchandise in total that Walmart is seeking restitution for. Jyotsna Korivi is a Family Medical Doctor with Premier Medical Group.

On November 11th, Jyotsna Korivi was arrested and charged with 7 counts of theft of merchandise – shoplifting. She was released after she posted her own $7,000 bond in cash.
