Woman steals Fire Stick and cuts cords when friend asks her to leave after 2 months

22-year-old Shemia Price was charged with theft and vandalism after stealing an Amazon Fire Stick and cutting the cords to a television, antenna, and speakers in a home that she had been allowed to stay in for two months.

On September 21st, Clarksville Police Officer Straughber was dispatched to 1611 Baltimore Drive after receiving a property damage call. On scene, Straughber spoke with Taramarie Gulledge who told police that when she returned home the wires to her television speakers had been cut. A closer look showed that her antenna wires and wires to her flat screen had also been cut, and an Amazon Fire Stick had been taken. Gulledge told authorities that she had allowed Shemia Price to stay with her for two months, but recently asked her to leave the home.

Witnesses Ayanna Martin and Aqueelah Wood told police that Price came by the residence earlier that day with six other people they did not know. Martin and Wood also said they heard a lot ruckus in the apartment while Price was removing her things. Martin told officers that Price stopped by her home to ask for the landlord’s contact information.

Shemia Price was arrested and charged with vandalism and theft. Her bond was set at $1,000.
