Traffic stop for failure to signal yields Oxycodone and Fentanyl

37-year-old Shayanne Turner was charged with possession of Oxycodone and Fentanyl for resale and unlawful drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop for failing to signal on Riverside Drive.

On August 26th, officers stopped a red Pontiac due to a failure to signal at 640 Riverside Drive. Shayanne Turner was driving, with Ryan Unsell in the passenger seat and Tyler Johnson in the back. During the stop, Turner refused to consent to a search. A K9 unit was called and PSD Vader gave an indication and a probable cause search was conducted.

Inside the vehicle was 15 Oxycodone, 1.8 grams of Fentanyl, two cut straws, and a plastic vile. Turner admitted ownership of the Fentanyl and admitted to selling her Oxycodone for $20 a pill.

Shayanne Turner was arrested and charged with possession of Fentanyl and Oxycodone for resale and unlawful drug paraphernalia. Her bond was set at $65,000.
