31-year-old Brandon Waynick was charged with domestic assault when a verbal argument with his wife over finances and the cat turned physical.
On September 13th, Clarksville Police Officer Harry Hampton was dispatched to 1044 Toliver Way regarding a domestic assault call. The officer spoke with Brandon Waynick and his wife Katie Raymond. Raymond explained to Officer Hampton that the couple had a verbal argument over the household finances and a cat, which turned physical.
According to Raymond, Waynick became angry and strangled about the neck, which displayed visible marks. The officer noted that Waynick did not attempt to choke Raymond to lose consciousness as he did not apply pressure.
Brandon Waynick was arrested and charged with domestic assault. His bond was set at $ 1,500.
