Duo found with cocaine and marijuana during vehicle search

34-year-old Duane Wilderness and 43-year-old Jerome Nash were charged with two counts of possession with intent after their vehicle was searched and officers located 1.7 pounds of marijuana and 60 grams of cocaine, per report.

On November 17th, Clarksville Police Department agents executed a search warrant at 317 Dover Road. Authorities searched a Chevy Equinox that was in the parking lot and located a backpack containing twenty packages of THC wax and a cell phone. A blue backpack was found in the trunk area that contained two bags with a green, leafy substance inside of them.

According to the report, a bag with suspected cocaine and a digital scale were also located. The leafy substance tested positive for marijuana and had a preliminary weight of 1.7 pounds. The cocaine had a preliminary weight of 60 grams. Jerome Nash claimed ownership of the cell phone inside of his backpack and another bag contained paperwork for both he and Duane Wilderness.

Duane Wilderness was arrested and charged with unlawful drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana and cocaine with intent. He is currently jailed in lieu of a $90,000 bond.

Jerome Nash was arrested and charged with unlawful drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana and cocaine with intent. He is currently jailed in lieu of a $45,000 bond and his case was bound over to a grand jury.
