Couple from August domestic incident found with cocaine & meth, bond set at $121k and $80k

30-year-old Jacqueline Smith and 47-year-old Jarvise Shelton were charged with methamphetamine violation, cocaine for resale, and unlawful drug paraphernalia when officers went to their home on a warrant and found meth and cocaine.

On September 3rd, Clarksville Police Department Officers were dispatched to a residence at 422 Highpoint Road in regard to a warrant for Jarvise Shelton. Officers made contact with Shelton’s wife, Jacqueline Smith who told them he was in the backroom and permitted them to go get him.

Officers located Shelton in the backroom and placed him into custody. Consent was asked and granted by Shelton to search of the residence. The search produced tin foil containing 5.8 grams of methamphetamine, a baggie containing 4.2 grams of cocaine, multiple syringes, a spoon with residue, baggies, and a digital scale. Shelton was charged with aggravated domestic assault against Smith on August 4th. While he was imprisoned on the 5th, Matthew Bodine was charged in the theft of Shelton’s Camaro.

Jacqueline Smith was arrested and charged with meth violation, resale schedule II cocaine, unlawful drug paraphernalia, and her bond was set at $81,000 bond.

Jarvise Shelton was arrested and charged with meth violation, resale schedule II cocaine, unlawful drug paraphernalia, and is jailed in lieu of and $121,000 bond.
