Clarksville senior charged with 4th DUI; driving slow and swerving in minivan

68-year-old Tony Pentecost was charged with his fourth DUI when an officer pulled him over in a minivan for swerving and driving 10 miles per hour in a 35 mile per hour zone.

On May 7th, Montgomery County Deputy Ignacio Rivera observed Tony Pentecost driving a silver Chevrolet Uplander near Crossland Avenue and Pageant Lane. The officer noted in the affidavit that Pentecost was swerving and driving 10 miles per hour in a 35 MPH zone.

When Pentecost was stopped officers immediately recognized the smell of alcohol and identified typical traits of impairment. Pentecost refused any sobriety testing. According to the affidavit, his other three DUI charges were in 2006, 2012, and 2019.

Tony Pentecost was charged with his fourth driving under the influence. He is currently jailed in lieu of a $25,000 bond.
