53-year-old Lafayette Agnew was charged with domestic assault after his wife reported to police that two days prior he grabbed her by the neck and pushed her down.
On August 16th, Officer Wiessing was dispatched to 1725 Setter Road. Upon arrival, contact was made with Kenya McGee. She stated that she was going through a divorce with her husband Lafayette Agnew.
She went on to say that on August 14th they got into an altercation in which Agnew grabbed her by the neck and pushed her down. McGee advised her airway was never obstructed. She stated she was placed in fear during the altercation. Agnew stated that no physical altercation took place.
Lafayette Agnew was arrested and charged with domestic assault. His bond was set at $500.
