Clarksville man seeks trademark over Facebook Group name, wants to garnish group admin’s wages

Keith Bassett has filed to trademark the name of a Facebook group he created, “Clarksville Chat”, in an attempt to get a competing group called “Clarksville Chat – *OFFICIAL*”, managed by Jeff Janes, removed from the platform. The two groups have been dueling for months over the shared name usage.
