65-year-old Jerry Anderson was charged with domestic assault after he reportedly entered his ex-girlfriend’s apartment and later stated, “Fuck you bitch, I’ll kill you and burn down this apartment complex.”
On November 26th, Clarksville Police Officer Andrew Ramirez responded to reports of a domestic assault involving conditions of release at 205 Beech Street. Officer Ramirez made contact with Jerry Anderson’s ex-girlfriend. She stated she left her residence with the door unlocked to visit a friend. She claimed when she came back, Jerry was in her house.
She asked him to leave and he replied, “Fuck you bitch, I’ll kill you and burn down this apartment complex.” She asked him to leave once more, and he grabbed a knife with a brown wooded handle. She claimed he approached her as if he was going to stab her. She asked him to leave one more time and he left.
She told authorities she did not call them due to not owning a phone. She used her landlord’s landline to contact them afterward. Officers later found that Jerry had active conditions of release, involving not coming into contact with his ex-girlfriend.
Jerry Anderson was arrested and charged with aggravated domestic assault and contempt of court. His case was later dismissed.
