25-year-old Taylor Hay was charged with domestic assault and vandalism after slapping a female victim across the face and breaking her glasses because she brought up his following of “other females” on social media.
On February 23rd, Officer Lee responded to a domestic call at an apartment at 939 South Riverside Drive. When the officer arrived, the victim stated she and Taylor Hays got into an argument about Taylor following “other females” on social media.
According to the affidavit, she said Taylor became angry and he smacked her across the face so hard it knocked her glasses off. Taylor then pushed her to the ground and stepped on her glasses. Taylor then left the apartment and grabbed an Uber. The officer then made contact with Taylor, who stated the argument was only verbal and nothing physical had happened.
Taylor Hay was arrested and charged with Domestic Assault and Vandalism. His bond was set at $6,000.
