Clarksville woman behind bars again, this time for a false report

46-year-old Sherry Currier was charged with false report when she repeatedly lied to officers about the name of the person she was with. Sherry was already out on bond from a February incident.

On April 23rd, authorities were called to investigate possible trespassing at 3220 Oak Ridge Road in Palmyra. When they arrived officers discovered a vehicle with two occupants in the detached garage on the property. Sherry Currier identified herself and the other individual said he was Jason Edward Bradford. When officers could not confirm that identity, they separated Currier and she again told police her partner was Jason Bradford.

The man’s true identity was revealed to be Jason Tyler Groves. According to the affidavit, Currier admitted to her lie and was detained, she was on probation. This is Currier’s 3rd arrest in 2020 and she was out on bond from an incident Scoop reported on the 26th of February.

Sherry Currier was arrested and charged with false report. She is jailed in lieu of a $10,000 bond.
