Woman stabbed & pepper-sprayed her boyfriend, called 911 herself, police say.

26-year-old Shauntrel Williams is charged with aggravated domestic assault after she pepper-sprayed and stabbed her boyfriend during an argument in January, as detailed in an arrest warrant.

Officers responded to a domestic in progress on Lancaster Lane in January. When contact was made with the victim he stated that he and his girlfriend, Shauntrel Williams, had gotten into an argument over him using her vehicle. According to him, they began arguing throughout the apartment and she pepper-sprayed him in the hallway. He then rinsed the pepper spray off of his face and followed Shauntrel into the kitchen while she was on the phone with 911.

The victim said that he tried to walk away from the situation but then “felt something on his back that he later discovered was a stab wound.” Shauntrel said that the victim had his back facing her and raised his hand and that is when she stabbed him. The victim was transported to Tennova by EMS and Shauntrel was transported to booking.

Shauntrel Williams was arrested for aggravated assault and her bond was set at $15,000.00. She is scheduled to appear in court in April.
