19-year-old Katlinn Mitchell is charged with domestic assault, public intoxication, and resisting arrest after police say she hit and slapped her husband after he came home and found her kissing another man.
Officers were dispatched to a domestic violence call on January 7th. Upon arrival, officers could hear arguing from the door. Once officers knocked the victim answered the door and stepped outside followed by Katlinn Mitchel, the defendant, as well as Andrew Adams and Lynn Tyler. The victim stated that he came home from work to find his wife kissing Lynn. That was when the victim called Andrew to pick up Lynn from his residence.
The victim asked his wife why she would do that and she responded by hitting and slapping him. Katlinn appeared to be drunk according to officers as well as underage. When taken into custody Kaitlinn began to resist by “yanking away” and slipped one of her cuffs off. Once officers subdued her she continued to kick and fight back until police were able to get her back in cuffs. Katlinn was then transported to booking.
Katlinn Mitchell was arrested and charged with domestic assault, public intoxication, and resisting arrest Her bond was set at $5500.00.
