20-year-old Samantha French is charged with theft after police found her between apartment buildings on S. 11th Street with packages and mail that didn’t belong to her.
Clarksville Police were called about a suspicious person that was looking into vehicles, ringing doorbells, and knocking on doors around 5 a.m. Wednesday. A woman, later identified as Samantha French, was found in between the apartment buildings. In her possession, she had a couple of packages and mail which did not have her name on it. It was discovered the packages and mail had been stolen from a resident’s mailbox. French was booked on a theft charge, with a $1,000 bond.
