26-year-old Katelyn Butcher was arrested on June 14, charged with 2 counts of aggravated child abuse of an 8-week-old infant. She is free on a $30,000 bond, with arraignment scheduled in early July.
The Montgomery County Grand Jury returned the true bill earlier this month, a copy of which is below. Due to the nature of the Grand Jury proceedings, most details were not available. The events happened between January 14th and January 17th, 2019. The child was just over 8 weeks old at that time, and she is alleged to have caused serious bodily injury to the child on two occasions during that period. Butcher is free on a $30,000 bond via 2nd Chance Bail Bonding and is scheduled to appear in court July 1st.
