Montgomery County hits 100 COVID-19 cases in one week

As of July 3rd, Montgomery County has 534 COVID-19 cases. 198 have recovered and our county has experienced 7 deaths from the disease caused by the novel coronavirus. 329 cases are currently active and 34 individuals are hospitalized. Montgomery County broke 100 cases since last Friday, June 26th.

On July 3rd, the Tennessee Department of Health released their COVID-19 data at 2:00 p.m., as they do each day. Montgomery County’s count was 534 cases. COVID-19 numbers in Clarksville Montgomery County have persistently climbed recently. In one week, between June 26th and July 3rd, Montgomery County accrued 100 cases.

The Tennessee Health Department reported Montgomery County’s first case on March 19th. Tennessee added 1,822 cases today bringing the state’s total to 48,712. Thirteen individuals in Tennessee have been added to the 633 COVID-19 deaths in the last 24 hours. 653 have been reported as recovered.
