Tennova Healthcare today confirmed the first positive test result for COVID19 / Coronavirus in Montgomery County, Tennessee. A remote testing site has been established in Clarksville at Vanderbilt Primary Care at 800 Weatherly Dr. Suite 201B.
In recent days, most restaurants have voluntarily limited their seating capacity in the city, while most fast food establishments have completely closed their dining rooms. Clarksville’s City Mayor Joe Pitts was out and about in one of the still-open restaurants, Yada on Franklin, dining with others on Tuesday afternoon, with no observance of the suggested social distancing, but rather casually dining closely among others.
Neither the city or the county has released a statement on the new confirmation of a COVID19 case. The case is at Tennova Healthcare.
