Nashville Mayor to request bars to close, reduction of restaurant capacities #COVID19

Nashville Mayor John Cooper will ask that all bars on lower Broadway, and across the city, to close until further notice, and restaurants to operate at half-capacity… so far, we have no confirmed cases in Montgomery County, however, testing has not been extensive, and it’s only a matter of time until the first case is confirmed.

DWI: Soldier found slumped over behind wheel, admits to doing cocaine, weed, and alcohol.

Tre Antony Thomas (MCSO)

19-year-old soldier Tre Antony Thomas is charged with underage driving while impaired after Clarksville police found him slumped over in the driver’s seat of a running vehicle. They were eventually able to awaken him, at which time he advised he had consumed cocaine, marijuana, and alcohol, earlier in the evening.

Mother leaves 12-year-old girl in parking lot while drinking ‘for hours’ inside Electric Cowboy, police say

Sofia Beatriz Rodas, 30, & Reynaldo Salinas-Cruz, 35, face multiple charges, including child abuse and neglect after Sofia’s 12-year-old daughter wandered into the Electric Cowboy looking for her mother. Bartenders say her mother had been inside the bar drinking “for a few hours”.

Mother charged with abusing 14-year-old daughter with extension cord when she couldn’t locate a belt

Multiple witnesses say 33-year-old Jessica Golay assaulted her 14-year-old child multiple times with an extension cord, leaving marks on her face and arm. When she was unable to wake her boyfriend, Ernest Mays, for his belt, she said “F–k it, I have an extension cord”, per an arrest warrant charging her with child abuse.

Clarksville woman receives judicial diversion after leaving animals in storage unit with no food or water

Tanya Larsen (MCSO)

22-year-old Tanya Larsen was given one year of probation with judicial diversion, after being charged with 5 counts of animal cruelty when she left several cats and a dog inside a locked storage unit. 3 of the cats were in a single-cat carrier, the dog had no room to move, and there was no food or water. Her charge will be expunged after probation.

Mother charged with biting child during an argument over going to bed

25-year-old Mystery Somnus is charged with aggravated felony child abuse and neglect after she left teeth marks and a bruise on her young daughter’s arm during an argument over going to bed. She initially claimed a dog bit her daughter, before admitting she did it.
