Woman’s choice of beer, Twisted Tea, and a bloody mary leads to her first #DUI

23-year-old Kimberly Schutz was charged with driving under the influence after she admitted to drinking multiple alcoholic beverages and failing field sobriety tests at Exxon.

On October 31st, Clarksville Police Department Officer Ronnie Raikes arrived at the Exxon Gas Station located at 1115 Highway 76 in response to a call for service. Raikes reported that he found Kimberly Schutz with red eyes and she was “uneasy on her feet.”

Schutz admitted to drinking: a bloody mary, Twisted Tea, and a beer 3 hours prior to driving, per the report. Raikes then had Schutz perform standard field sobriety tests which she failed.

Kimberly Schutz was arrested and charged with driving under the influence. She was released on a $5,000 bond.
